For a distinct change of pace, spend a day on Miami’s other island village, Key Biscayne. Established in 1947, the village of Key Biscayne lies south of Miami Beach and is connected to the mainland by the Rickenbacker Causeway. The 18-hole course at the Miami Beach Golf Club facility in Miami Beach, Florida features 6,903 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The Bass Museum of Art was established by agreement in 1963 when the City of Miami Beach accepted the gift of the art collection of John and Johanna Bass upon condition that it would maintain the collection in perpetuity, provide for the exhibition of the collections, and keep it open and available to the public. This building is now the centerpiece of the city's historic district and was placed on the National Register in 1978.
Designed by Kenneth Treister, The Holocaust Memorial of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is a Holocaust memorial at 1933-1945 Meridian Avenue, in Miami Beach, Florida. It was conceived by a committee of Holocaust survivors in 1984 and formally established in 1985. The Memorial was opened on Sunday, February 4, 1990, with Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel as guest speaker at the dedication ceremonies.

The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater is a 2,600-seat concert hall in South Beach. The art deco building takes its hybrid name from two sources: the Fillmore concert halls founded in the 1960s by rock promoter Bill Graham; and entertainer Jackie Gleason, whose television variety show aired live from the building from 1964 to 1970.
The Theater was designed by famed theater architect Thomas W. Lamb in association with Robert E. Collins. A jewel of Art Deco architecture, it contains sleek, curving shapes and intricate stylized floral reliefs on its coral-pink facade and elegantly appointed interior. Now seating 713 in spacious, comfortable chairs, the auditorium contains a stage with more than 2,000 square feet of space, clear sightlines and near-perfect acoustics. Host to classical concerts, including ensemble and chamber programs, the Lincoln is one of the best venues in South Florida to hear classical music, as well as the occasional dance or world music performance, in a comfortable, modern and at the same time, historic location.
